Las Vegas Ice Center

The Las Vegas Ice Center is probably the coldest place in Las Vegas. Located between Durango and Fort Apache traveling west on Flamingo Road from the Las Vegas Strip four miles. The Las Vegas Ice Center has two full size regulation rinks that are open year round.

The Zamboni machine produces surfaces as smooth as glass. You would think you were on a pond of ice notable for being kid friendly.

The Las Vegas Ice Center offers many ice sports including adult and children hockey leagues, games and lessons. Adult and child public skating times are available daily. Monday through Thursday the rink is open for public skating 12:30p.m. to 2:30p.m., Friday 7:30p.m. to 9:30p.m., Saturday and Sunday 1p.m. to 3p.m.

Skating fees are $10 for Adults, $6 for kids 5 and under, and prices include skate rental.

Learn To Ice Skate

Youth Ice Hockey League

The Las Vegas Youth Hockey League at the Las Vegas Ice Center is recreational hockey that allows kids to practice, play, develop and learn the game without the costs or commitments of travel hockey.

Kids of all age divisions can play in the league. All participants should have basic skating skills and a simple understanding of hockey rules. Children who have never skated or have very little experience must enroll in the Learn to Skate and/or "Hockey 123" programs prior to entering the youth league. All participants are encouraged to attend Public Skate as well as Stick & Puck sessions to develop their skating and hockey skills. More details

Adult Hockey Leagues

The Las Vegas Ice Center offers adult hockey four nights per week with the aim to offer hockey at a competitive yet fun level. Ages 18 and older only.

Pro Shop

The Las Vegas Ice Center offers a gym, equipment shop, and a huge Pro Shop filled with hockey equipment and apparel. Visit any time of the day and your family will certainly be able to catch a thrilling hockey game or view hockey practice. The arenas are huge and spacious offering seating equivalent to front row seat no matter where your family sits.

The center's concession stands offer all the family favorites including pizza and sodas. They also hold Skating Parties for birthdays and other special occasions. The adjoining restaurant has a wall of glass giving diners a full view of the entire ice rink.

The Las Vegas Ice Center is an exciting and inexpensive place to take the family whether you are a pro or have two left skates.

The center's location is ideal when the family wants to do something off the Las Vegas Strip. Located on Flamingo Road, the center cross road of the strip, with Caesar’s Place on the corner of the Strip and Flamingo, you can choose to travel north or south on the Strip to reach other family activities. Traveling north from Flamingo, parents and kids will enjoy a visit to the Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage Hotel and Casino along with viewing the Mirage Volcano show. Traveling south Flamingo, families can choose to visit the M & M Factory, the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand or take an unforgettable ride on New York New York's Manhattan Express Roller Coaster.
