MGM Grand's Signature resort functions like a luxury resort but feels like a timeshare, boasting impressive amenities like a fully functional kitchen or kitchenette. Guests can still enjoy MGM Grand's many offerings, including several on-site restaurants, pools, and of course, the Casino. But unlike that timeshare, rooms with kitchens or kitchenettes aren't equipped with dishware, cooking utensils and silverware. Don't worry, you won't be eating with your hands...Those items can be requested at the front desk upon arrival or delivered by a concierge free of charge. Just remember to be specific about the number of pots and pans, silverware, and dishes that you'll need.
The Signature itself is a rarity in Las Vegas as a non-gaming, non-smoking resort. That's right--guests can walk to their room without trailing through a maze of slot machines and clouds of smoke. Even better, select suites offer balconies and rooms on higher floors boast views of the Las Vegas Strip or valley beyond (where you can see arrivals and departures from the nearby McCarran International Airport). Then, when you're ready for your fair share of smoke clouds and Vegas debauchery, take a short walk to the neighboring MGM grand for a traditional casino environment.
Or, if you never want to leave the room, The Signature serves up an impressive in-suite dining menu available from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. spanning breakfast, lunch, and dinner options as well as appetizers, snacks, and dessert or even cocktails. (We recommend the box of handmade truffle chocolates and charcuterie spread.) With many condo-like amenities, staying in the room is an attractive option, where guests can soak in the whirlpool tub or watch TV from an extra screen that rises from working desks. If you do work up the energy to leave, check out one of the Signature's pools (each tower has its own) or venture over the MGM grand's decked-out swimming options, There are five pools, a 1,000 foot lazy river, and three whirlpool hot tubs. While you're there, grab a bite to eat at Delights for a hearty egg breakfast. And at night, wind down with a craft cocktail at The Lounge in The Signature's first tower.
