The Cosmopolitan in located between the City Center Complex and the Bellagio, directly across from Planet Hollywood. Erected on 8.7 acres, this super-luxurious behemoth is a refreshing 52 story vertical change to the surrounding sprawling resorts.

There is a lot to explore within the Cosmopolitan starting with the 10 uniquely designed pillars located just within the entrance of the resorts. The pillars are covered with video panels that will keep the entire family in awe with continuously changing images of aquatic scenes to sprouting flowers. This video display will keep your brain amused and no one walks away without saying "that was so cool". Created by Digital Kitchen, it is a combination of photography and 3D and 2D animation.

The Cosmopolitan is the home of a chandelier so large that guests actually enter inside the chandelier to find a multi-deck bar. The chandelier was designed by David Rockwell and is strung with 2 million crystal beads.

Art is an important part of The Cosmopolitan experience including their recent commission of contemporary artist such as Kenny Scharf, Retna and Shinique Smith to decorate its parking garage. This unique collection of pieces, known as "WALLWORKS", is a must see for guests and their families. The Cosmopolitan has been successful in combining art in all mediums with the Las Vegas experience. One of the newest addition is the installation of the Art-O-Mat machines. These refurbished cigarette machines, first exhibited at the Andy Warhol Museum, contain original pieces of art work inside a box the size of a cigarette pack.There are six Art-O-Mat machines located throughout the resort.

Guests and their families will find fun and refreshment at any one of Cosmopolitan's three pristine pools encompassing 50,000 square feet of pool area and deck. The Boulevard Pool provides a multi-level, open air environment. A more soothing experience can be found at the Bamboo Pool while the Day club Pool is an extension of the nightclub featuring three story bungalow lofts.

The Cosmopolitan provides 2,995 guest rooms with 2,200 of the rooms featuring private terraces. The wrap-a-round terraces give guests views of the surrounding Las Vegas scenery from all vantage points. The Cosmopolitan does not charge for children 12 years and younger. Guests have a variety of room choices from the Terrace Studio to the One Bedroom Suite. If cost is of no concern, the Cosmopolitan's oversized residential style one bedroom suite is ideal for families with its 1,200 square foot living space including 2 baths, separate dining area, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, in-suite washer and dryer, high speed internet and flat screen TV.

Whatever your cravings are at the moment, guests will be satisfied in any one of Cosmopolitan's 12 restaurants choices including a buffet.

The third floor of the Cosmopolitan provides a child friendly sitting area. Nestled between two family style restaurants, this common area has nearby family games available such as dominos and arcade games.

The Cosmopolitan guest's exposure to the extensive varieties of art forms will provide experiences for many family memories. This resort's location is ideal for a limited amount of travel required to near-by family activities. Just next door at the Bellagio, parents can take the children to view the Fountains at the Bellagio. Performances of the choreographed fountains, set to light and music at scheduled every 15 minutes. Families can experience many different adventures whichever way they choose to travel from the Cosmopolitan. Going south, kids will be jumping up and down waiting to ride New York New York's Big Apple Roller Coaster. Just across the street, families can feast at the King Arthur's Tournament inside the Excalibur Hotel and Casino while rooting for their favorite knight. Cross the street is the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.
