The Fragrant World of Chocolate
One of the newer additions to the Strip, Hershey's Chocolate World is located inside the New York New York Hotel. Based on the aroma that wafts over you as soon as you enter, you might think that Hershey's has figured out how to pump chocolate flavored oxygen into the store! The smell alone is enough to convince you that you need hundreds of pounds of chocolate and candy themed apparel, jewelry and chocolate clones of your children.
Trick or Treat or Baked Goods
As much as it may feel like you've entered into a mythical land of chocolate, because you're still on the Strip, the prices will reflect that reality. And while some candy may seem expensive, there are enough unusual treats that you'll open your wallet (and mouth!). There are incredibly long Twizzlers near the registers, as well as a self-serve M & M's bar, which offers color-coordinated candies. There's a wide varity of Hershey Kisses, several which are not sold in stores. In addition, other candy is available, such as: Jolly Ranchers, Bubble Yum as well as a decadent baked goods section! If that's not enticing enough, you can also make your own custom made Hershey's candy bar with your own label or buy yourself a gift in the expansive gift shop! A life without chocolate isn't a life worth living...
The Statue of Chocolate
Covering over two stories, Hershey's Chocolate World has some unique display pieces scattered about. On the first floor, you'll discover a Statue of Liberty made completely from chocolate, and another Statue of Liberty on the second floor made from Twizzlers! There are lamps like peanut butter cups, and an Empire State Building made entirely of Hershey bars!
