Kids to Kids has a mission of
spreading the joy of reading throughout the community. What a
success they have been in their five years of service. Now, to
celebrate, a two-day funfest is planned at the new Providence
community. Get ready for total fun as noted authors mingle,
along with local sports team members and other home town
celebrities.

You can enjoy family activities, food and music,
just for starters. Round up the kids and get over to Providence for a weekend
they'll long remember.
Integrity Broadcasting will be there along with KVBC,
promoting the Kids to Kids message and generating awareness of this kid-friendly
program.
The organization believes that kids who own books
will read them again and again, and take their meanings to heart.
The event is a great way to encourage your young
reader to delve into other worlds and cultures, having fun along the way. |
Some folks your kids look up to will be
in attendance, including author Joyce Moller, storytellers and local
authors as well. Genie Corcoran, the Story Genie, will be there as
well. You can count on being entertained and enjoying a wholesome,
family-friendly occasion.
A tumbling team will get things hopping,
and local members of pro football and baseball teams will toss balls
with kids. There will even be a mini cheerleading camp. If all that
is still not enough, consider that Mother Goose and Ronald McDonald
will be there, along with face painters, balloon artists, a fire
truck and the Canine Unit of the police department. Your kid will be
ecstatic, and you'll be glad of the connection being made between
fun and reading.
