Whether your pocketbook has tightened a little these days or all is well in on the financial front, it's always wise to get good deals. With most Vegas shows charging anywhere from $50 to $200 (that's right, for non VIP tickets!) entertainment can break the family bank. We're nuts for freebies so we thought we'd pass a few along to you.
World Greatest Circus Acts at Circus Circus... The hallmark of Circus Circus Hotel, Casino and Theme Park in Las Vegas is the wonderful array of circus acts that perform under the Big Top. In fact, the performers from around the globe who grace the Midway Stage at Circus Circus make it the world’s largest permanent circus. Dazzling aerialists, trapeze artists and clown shows are some of the numerous attractions that perform twice an hour daily from 11 a.m. to midnight. The shows are free of charge.
Get Soaked... Fountains at Bellagio. Every evening, a water and music show plays again and again in the spectacular fountains filling the quarter-mile long lake in front of the Bellagio.
Light it Up!... The Fremont Street Experience will have you dancing in the street with its $70 million light canopy and 540,000-watt sound system.
Free Shows at Town Square... There's a free children's show at Town Square just about every night. During Summer months Town Square features the very popular Movies in the Square--family friendly G & PG movies in Town Square Park on a giant 25 ft. by 35 ft. screen. Movies in the Square takes place every Thursday. Winter months features live music entertainment.
Kind of Like an African Safari... One look into the MGM Grand‘s lion habitat and you‘ll be hooked. The majestic cats command adoration whether they‘re chasing a large ball, licking their immense paws or just lyin‘ around.
Every Day is Mardi Gras... It‘s Mardi Gras Vegas-style at the Rio‘s Masquerade Show in the Sky. Revelers are immersed in the sights and sounds of the world‘s most famous carnival.
Singing at the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppe You don't have to travel to Venice to see gondolas and hear a bit of singing from gondoliers. Every day and evening you and the kids can enjoy free entertainment courtesy of the Venetian hotels singing gondoliers.
Fall of Atlantis at Caesars Looking a lot like a claymation scene, Fall of Atlantis plays on a regular day schedule in the Forum Shops Mall at Caesars Palace. Very child-friendly and of course, free.
Take a Bite Outta Vegas... Siegfried & Roy‘s famous white tigers are living in style at the Mirage. The sparkling, multi-million dollar habitat offers visitors a free peek at the majestic animals.
Something’s Up... Every hour after dusk, the Mirage volcano explodes forth for crowds of curious Strip onlookers.
Sirens of TI Visitors will be awed by the music, dance, excitement and seduction in this modern musical-meets-action-movie spectacular. From daring swordplay to high-diving acrobatics and eye-popping pyrotechnics, the show is packed with countless thrills. But beware the sirens, temptresses of the sea. Now, no man is safe in Sirens' Cove. Note this show is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
