Thinking of visiting or staying at the Mirage hotel with your kids?

The Mirage Hotel/Casino is the brain child of Las Vegas hotel mogul Steven Wynn. The hotel was his first in a long line of wildly successful Strip hotels which include the Treasure Island and Bellagio. It has 3,044 guest rooms and sixteen restaurant outlets which include its snack bar, Starbucks outlet and the ever popular California Pizza Kitchen.

Are kids allowed in the Mirage hotel?

Yes, children are indeed allowed in the Mirage, however, Nevada State Law prohibits minors (those under 21 years of age) to loiter in the casino. Specifically, children cannot hang around gaming areas--even if accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21 years old. They may, however, walk through the casino en route to another part of the hotel, but again, while accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21 years of age. Parents and/or guardians may not gamble with minors (children) sitting or standing next to them at any time. This includes quickly dropping a coin or two in a machine while walking with a child. Lastly, children may not touch the gaming devices including slot machines and table games.
