The Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts is a magnet school for children in Clark County interested in visual and performing arts and international studies. Students in the ninth through twelfth grades are able to choose a course of study focusing on a key subject.

Key subjects include dance, vocals, instrumental music, piano, theater, theater technology, visual arts and international studies.

Students of the Academy attend classes on a block schedule to ensure proper instruction in both core academics such as math, science, history and English and their specialized area.

With this schedule, students attend academic classes every other day and specialized classes every day.

The Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts is a nationally and locally recognized school.

They have been honored with three Grammy school awards, and recognized by national education departments for their efforts. With subjects like world affairs, international cultures, advance ballet, world jazz and costume, your child will be receiving the best is specialized education.
