Agassi College Prep Academy is a charter school for kids in kindergarten through 12th grades who desire intense study in core subjects, personal attention from instructors and the best preparation for a college education.
Here, children are motivated to continue learning while strengthening their character and sense of self. Different from other schools, students at this prep academy spend more time in the classroom learning.
Students attend classes for eight hours a day as opposed to the six of traditional schools and the school year last an additional 10 days. With these extended hours, your child will have gained an extra four years of schooling by the time they graduate.
And if you are interested in your child attending this school, make a note that all new students must attend the summer program before their first school year begins.
And the learning continues after school as well. Keep the fun going by joining an after school club. For kids interested in computers, there is a cyber club and for students who like chess or want to learn how to play, there is an chess club. Calling all vocalists to the after school choir club. Here students learn to sing in multiple languages and perform in the community. But if the theater is more for your child, a drama club is also available. And last, but not least, if your child is interested in journalism and publishing the Yearbook club is for them.
