Wetlands Nature Preserve

Location: 7050 Wetlands Park Ln., Las Vegas, NV

Neighborhood:

Time: Dawn to dusk

Wetlands Nature Preserve offers an up close and personal look into the many species of birds and other wildlife who call the Las Vegas area home. Come, take a walk and discover nature. Untouched.

Start your day in the information center. Here you can watch videos and view images of wetlands, discover what they are and why they are so important.

Wetlands Nature Preserves educators, volunteers and founders believe in educating the masses about the importance of wetlands and protecting the environment.

Then head out on a nature trail for an afternoon of discovery. There are concrete and gravel trails for you to follow.

Along this two mile trek you will encounter ponds, animal trails, breathtaking views and much more.

Be sure to bring your camera, as you may encounter beautiful birds up close.
Everyone is invited to the preserve.

All primary trails are accessible by those with disabilities and are pet friendly as well. But for the safety of the native animals, dogs are only allowed on a leash on the Duck Creek Trail.
