Lorenzi Park is one of the great Las Vegas landmarks. Located just west of downtown, this quiet area is the perfect place to bring an book and relax, play a friendly game of ball or try your luck at the lake.

The lake covers five acres of the park and is fully stocked with Trout and Catfish.

Be sure to get a fishing license, grab your pole and try for the big one.

Be careful though, there is a three fish limit per person. For children under 12, no fishing license is required.

If fishing is not your game, no problem. The park has plenty of other options.

How about a game of b’ball on one of the two courts, a couple innings of baseball or a match or two of tennis.

Just remember not to leave the family at home. There is fun to be had by all.

Plan for an afternoon cookout at one of the many picnic areas. While you are cooking, the kids can play out on the playground. And don’t worry, the park’s restroom facilities are close by.

This open park has plenty of room to run and play for an afternoon when school lets out, on the weekends or during school breaks. Head outdoors for fun and excitement.
