The Bird Viewing Preserve is a great place to spend time if you are interested in bird watching. Thousands of birds have made this area their home over the years and your are invited to come learn and observe them in their native habitats.

 

Follow the paths around the nine ponds in site. Listen to the peaceful sounds they make or take pictures of the beautiful animals you see.
 

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk. The paved path is more about ¾ of a mile in length.

 

And don’t be afraid of the dirt paths. They have been created for easy walking. With each new season, come out see the different birds that arrive at the preserve during their migration.

 

In addition to the new birds an waterfowl that arrive with each season, the preserve also offers news classes.

There is always something fun and educational happening at the Preserve for you to be a part of. For little or no charge you and your kids can participate in tracking birds, constructing bird feeders, photography and more.
