Nightlife at Sahara

CASBAR LOUNGE
In 1954, the Sahara started a Las Vegas trend by closing its Casbar Lounge off to the casino and featuring high profile entertainers like Don Rickles. Rickles was relatively unknown when he made his first Las Vegas appearance in the lounge in 1959. Now one of the most celebrated performers in the history of the city, Rickles came to Las Vegas straight from the Hollywood nightclub scene where one of his biggest supporters was Vegas icon, Frank Sinatra. Through the years, the Casbar Lounge continued to showcase exceptional talent, such as Little Anthony & the Imperials, Xavier Cugat, Mary Kay Trio, Louis Prima, Kay Starr and many more.

The Casbar Lounge has a seating capacity of 120 seats, and no cover charge.

Hours of Operation:
Tuesday & Wednesday 9pm-1am
The rest of the week 6pm-3am
