Ghost and Goblins of Nevada Past Location: Clark County Heritage
Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Hwy, Henderson Time: October 28-29, 2006, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Cost: $2
Get ready for a great way to celebrate
Halloween at the Clark County Museum’s Celebration with a local history theme.
Featuring Ghosts & Goblins of Nevada’s Past as a theme, don’t be surprised
if you meet up with gold miners from Silver City
or some of the dons of Las Vegas, all making appearances especially for this
Halloween gala, especially for families with elementary-agers and younger.
The historic homes along Heritage
Street are open for trick-or-treating, and there’s a ghost town nearby for those
who dare to venture there…and you’ll find some real ghosts at home during the
event…but not the scary kind…they’re more…well, friendly, than most ghosts you
might run into.
There’ll be carnival games, costume
contests – so wear your best and scariest costume – and a 1950’s style “spook
alley” to bring some lively spirits in for a visit.
There’s plenty to do and plenty of fun to be had…all without the uncertainty of
the usual Halloween ritual candy-gathering…all hosted by the Heritage Museum and
its helpers – the humans as well as those little ghosties who will enjoy the
sights on their annual Halloween flight.
