Opportunity Village serves people with intellectual disabilities and enhances their lives and the lives of their families. The organization offers vocational training, employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation.

People with these disabilities are able to make friends and seek a level of independence as well as unleash their creative abilities in a variety of ways.

 

This non-profit is all about improving quality of life. Programs include two work center campuses, a vehicle donation program, and training programs.

 

This great organization is always looking for volunteers to donate time and skills to their various programs.

 

Opportunity Village matches your interests and abilities with its needs and they accommodate your schedule.

Opportunities include helping people with their work contracts, offering companionship, clerical help, assisting with fundraising events and answering phones. Somewhere in that list is an opportunity for you and your kids to get involved and better someone else’s life—as well as your own.
