Camp Invention Las Vegas
Camp Invention – what a fun way for your child to explore history, math, science and the arts. This program, offered to children in the first through sixth grades, teaches kids to work together, use their imaginations and be creative in solving problems.
Local educators teach these hands-on classes. Each camp is one week in length, with children completing five different areas of learning. In addition, there are two different themes to Camp Invention, Create and Encounter.
Children participating in the Create camps let their imaginations run wild as they transform into car engineers, roller coaster designers and space explorers. On Planet Zak, children are asked to solve problems relating to science fiction stories they are told.
Here, they learn six steps to solving problems and how to incorporate this into everyday life. During spills and chills each child is transformed into an engineer and challenged to use their imaginations while designing safety features for products like skateboards, crash cars and more!

Each hour and a half session is held at held at a different school within the community making them more accessible to interested children.
Kids will create a masterpiece of their own to bring home all while learning about and listening to famous artists. Is your child's birthday just around the corner? Why not throw an art parties? Your child will be the talk of all their friends after attending this one-of-a-kind party. Kids of all ages will have a great time playing art games, painting and more. An art instructor will assist the children in creating three "special something's” to take home and prizes are available for game winners. After a party like this, each child may become a modern Van Gogh!
For kids who are not able to attend group classes or are not comfortable in the group setting, private classes are also available in your home or in the studio. Private lessons are available to children from three years to high school age. With each lesson, your child is challenged to improve upon existing art skills while learning new techniques and various areas of art.
If you are looking for something for your child to do this summer, why not enroll them in art camp? Camps are designed for kids ages five to 12 and for teenagers ages 10 to 14. Nevada Ballet Theatre - Ballet Classes for Children
The Nevada Ballet Theatre introduces you and your family to the art of ballet dancing through many facets. Sure, you can watch one or more of the breathtaking performances, but if you are more interested in learning the in's and out's of ballet, join the poised and graceful dancers as they involve and educate you on this beautiful artistic movement.
Each season the Nevada Ballet Theatre promises at least four performances for you and your family. Enjoy the ballet and become acquainted with timeless classics including The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night's Dream and other favorites. Season tickets are available as well as tickets to individual shows.
These performances will inspire the ballerina in us all. In addition to the dancers you see on stage, the Nevada Ballet Theatre formed The Academy in the late 1970's in hopes of inspiring children, teens and adults to express themselves through dance.
Classes include jazz, tap, ballet, modern and character dance and hip-hop. Additional programs for adults include Pilates, jazzercise and adult ballet. For children, joining The Academy offers the opportunity to be selected for the youth theatre company. Additional classes are offered in steps for children based on age and skill level.
If your child is interested in learning to dance or enhancing their skills, the following classes may be of interest: Me and Mum, Creative Movement, Beginning Ballet, Intermediate Ballet, Pointe, Fencing and much more. And don't leave out the boys. There is even a boys class that focuses on building strength and power.
If your children are looking for something to do during summer break, the Creative Dance Camp may be for them. Children ages three to four and five to eight are eligible to enroll in this camp. Through the Creative Dance Camp, children learn creative movement, singing, arts and crafts and storytelling. With these newly identified skills, your kids will perform scenes from the children's classic Peter Pan and the Jungle Book.
For kids who are more involved in ballet, they may be interested in auditioning for a spot in the Summer Intensive Program. This is a three week training session developed to strengthen the skills of dancers who are interested in pursuing a dancing career.

Kids Talent Network
The Kids Talent Network is a group dedicated to helping children interested in a career in modeling or acting. If your child takes beautiful pictures, loves to talk or simply hogs the camera, you may have a future model or actor living in your home. The Kids Talent Network offers children of all ages the opportunity to develop their talent while having a great time.
They are dedicated to building your child's confidence and creating a positive experience. When looking for children to become a part of the Kids Talent Network, they are selected by personality, looks, disposition, talent and more. Once selected these children are taught by experienced acting coaches from Hollywood.
These classes are designed to help children further develop the skills they need to be on TV or in the movies. Through Kids Talent Network, your child will have the opportunity to audition for parts offered by world-renowned talent agents and directors.
In addition to all that is done in-house, The Kids Talent Network chooses a select group of children, ages four to 17, to attend the Actors Models and Talent Competition. Here the kids are given their time to shine before major industry leaders. Many of today's actors and actresses have been discovered through this competition.

There's a bit of an artist in all of us, and at Color Me Mine, you and your kids can really let your artistic senses shine. Color Me Mine is the premier "paint it yourself” place! Kids and adults alike can create interesting and unique artistic pottery pieces in a fun, relaxed, and creative environment. A visit to Color Me Mine involves selecting a plain bisque piece to paint and customize any way you wish.
